navigating grief: a group for those feeling lost after loss
A closed, therapist-led grief process group for adults navigating the death of a loved one. The goal is not to “move on,” forget, or detach from the deceased. The goal is to help group participants gradually take in the reality of the loss, process the pain of grief, adjust to a changed world, and develop an enduring connection with their loved one while continuing to live.
This course, created by our licensed professional counselor specializing in grief and loss, is designed for those experiencing long-term grief (1+ year after loss), but is suitable for those in all stages of grief.

Individual therapy provides one-on-one support with a therapist, while group therapy offers the opportunity to connect with others who share similar experiences. Many people find that group therapy complements individual counseling by providing additional support, insight, and accountability.
No. While participation is encouraged to get the most out of your experience, there is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable sharing. Many people start by listening and gradually become more involved as they feel safe and supported.
Our licensed professional counselor can discuss your goals, concerns, and current challenges to help determine whether a group is a good fit and which group may best support your needs.
