The Gerber House: Phase 3 Recovery Sober Home
In 1998, Kinnic Falls purchased an 8 bed Sober House, just a block away from our low intensity residential treatment facility. In 2024, the house was completely renovated and provides a modern and comfortable environment. We have utilized this home for clients who would benefit from extra time in a semi-structured environment. Clients may live at The Gerber House for up to 6 months. Kinnic Falls supports The Gerber House by keeping rents low so clients just starting their new life can have affordable housing.

Life at Gerber House
Our sober living house provides a supportive, structured environment for men continuing their recovery journey with a Sober House manager that lives at Gerber House. Residents are able to live at Gerber House for up to 6 months after graduating from our Low Intensity Residential Treatment Program. We facilitate reintegration into society by encouraging community involvement and fostering healthy connections. Our goal is to empower residents to build a strong foundation for long-term sobriety and achieve a successful, fulfilling life.
Our clients share that over a six month stay at The Gerber House they are proud to have developed healthy relationships, social skills, self-insight, and financial management skills. After their time at The Gerber House, clients find stable housing either in their home communities or here in River Falls.
Housing and Amenities
The Gerber House is reserved for alumni of our Low Intensity Residential Program. Eight men live in the Gerber House at any given time including our Sober House Manager, an employee of Kinnic Falls. Gerber House has both double and single occupancy rooms available, Spacious living areas, large private storage areas for each tenant and a modern kitchen. The property includes an expansive yard, garage and easy on-street parking. The entire house was renovated in 2024 and provides a comfortable and modern home environment for our tenants.
Cost and Payment Options
Clients enter into a lease agreement with Kinnic Falls for either a double or single room. Affordable rent prices are a priority for Kinnic Falls. Our philosophy is to ensure that our clients are able to afford sober housing.
